There are many talented individuals who create fishing poles as a labor of love rather than for mass production.

These custom-made fishing poles can often offer unique designs, high-quality craftsmanship, and a level of attention to detail that might not be found in commercially manufactured options.

Discovering a fishing pole crafted by someone with a genuine passion for the sport can lead to a fantastic angling experience.

These hobbyists often focus on creating a pole that feels just right in terms of balance, sensitivity, and overall performance, tailored to the specific preferences of anglers.

If you ever come across such a custom-made fishing pole, it’s definitely worth giving it a try.

It could turn out to be one of the best fishing poles you’ve ever used, providing a connection to the craft and enhancing your enjoyment on the water.

Just be sure to consider factors such as the type of fishing you do, the species you target, and your personal preferences when evaluating the suitability of the custom pole for your needs.

I purchased a pole through a small local bait shop which the pole was made out of Texas from an induvial who only made them out of a hobby.

It was the best fishing pole that I ever used and I have used many poles before.

The pole was so light and thin you could feel anything biting it.

Used it for fishing for sheep head and you could feel everything that those fish did.

Sheep head are very talented fish when it comes to getting your bait.

I have seen them take a fiddler crab and crush it and suck the insides out without ever damaging the shell and they look just like they did when you put it on the hook.

With those teeth that they have protruding out they can crush the shell and suck the insides out in a flash before you feel it on the fishing pole.

Those sheep head are some mighty find eating and so fun to catch!

Plus if you know where to look you can find fiddler crabs in herds and if you do it right they are easy to catch.

So enjoy your fishing and only take the legal size and quota that is allowed!
